My Kaytee and Kenzee

Today marks one year from the day of Kaytee and Kenzee's accident. I still cannot believe they are gone. I miss them tons! I used to talk to Kaytee almost everyday. She was "Aunt Kaytee" to my kids; they loved her so much, and Kenzee and Kylee were friends like no other. She misses Kenzee terribly. She tells me that it hurts her heart. It breaks my heart. Like the time at school when all of the kids drew pictures of their dream wish for Christmas. Hers was to have a sleepover with Kenzee. It's those little moments that are hard and my heart aches for what we will miss with them. But I have so many wonderful, fun memories with them that I will cherish always. They were beautiful, amazing girls, and I loved them like my own little sisters. I am grateful they were a part of my life, and I can't wait to see them again someday.

A Great Saturday!

So today, Jen and I went to get massages at the spa while our husbands stayed home and watched the little ones. I could get used to starting off my day with a massage! It was probably one of the best ones I've had! I know Jen loved hers (pregnancy massage)! I then came home and went on a lunch date with Paul. (We just try to squeeze them in when we can). Then after Paul left for work, I took the kids to feed the ducks and then go play in the water at the splash pads at the park. They had so much fun! I love watching my kids play - a perfect end to a perfect Saturday!

Remembering my Meme

9 years ago today my maternal grandmother passed away. She was so giving and loving and fun to be around! A trait she has given to my mom, especially with her grandkids. I was her oldest grandchild, and even though for much of my childhood, she lived in Europe, I would see her in the summers and she spoiled me rotten! As I was older she moved to the states and closer to us. Her name is my middle name. We had a VERY special bond and she will always hold a VERY special place in my heart. She was the best! I love her, I miss her, and I only wish that my children could have known her.

Disneyland-the Happiest Place on Earth

This last week was such a blast! It was our trip to DL, as we like to call it! We love, love Disneyland! But the best part is that we get to spend it together as a family! We also got to spend one of the days with our good friends, Lisa and Bill, and their son, James and his friend. Good times! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Brynlee while we were waiting for everyone on Thunder Mountain

Brynlee was upset she couldn't go on the ride, so she thought she would try and sneak in the exit.

Brynlee's favorite ride

"I don't want to go again!" Not his favorite ride. He would have rather been on California Screamin', but he was just not quite tall enough-even after we stuffed his shoes! Maybe next time!

He did love the LEGO store!
