and gets to go to her brother's last game a couple of days later where a couple (actually 3, the 3rd was camera shy) of his "friends that are girls" came to watch him play (such a stud!):

We made a trip to Salt Lake to Kambree's graduation (love that girl!!!)

Made a trip to Cedar to visit Uncle Eric while he was in town:

Brynlee turned 4! (sigh):Wanted to get her ears pierced ON her birthday (got in the chair, so excited until the old lady in dreadlocks showed up to do them, then she FREAKED) Maybe next year:

Had a summer dance recital on her birthday (FUN!):

a little update...

on a couple of things that have been going on around here,
since Craig turned 8, he had a birthday party
and was baptized (all in the same day),

and went to his first pack meeting as a cubscout.
Paul and Craig went to a Fathers & sons campout,

while we had a girl's night out including nails, toes, Cafe Rio, Miley Cyrus movie & our favorite girls, Jen & Scotlyn!

Craig got braces (which he was so excited about until the next morning when his teeth hurt)

Kylee and her friends danced in the talent show at school (Thanks, Kathy for video-ing it)

and we are off to dance recitals, the last of baseball games, and the last week of school! Hurray!!

Poker Face

Brynlee and I were in the car today and Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" came one. Brynlee, "Turn it all the way up, Mom!" So she is singing her little heart out, "my,my, my, my,my poker face" and then stops and says, "Mommy, you would never poke my face!"

Braces..

...for Craig! Yep, Craig at the ripe age of 7 will be getting braces. Just on the top, to help with the expansion of his mouth. His mouth isn't big enough for ALL of the teeth that he has coming in. (You should have seen his x-ray) He will have an expander put in and that should be fun! Little does he know!

..really? Ainslee OUT OF THE BLUE decides she wants her ears pierced! For those of you that know my little Gracie Lou, she is not one to do anything scary like ride roller coasters, or let alone purposely get holes poked in her ears! But, she decided, finally, that she wanted her ears pierced, TODAY. So, we thought we better run, not walk, to get it done! She did not even flinch! Go figure! Before and after:

Brynlee...

I just had to post these photos of Brynlee. She is such a little ham! I decided that I would post them, even though I have many other photos to post to catch up since Halloween! Oh, well! The kids all got new robes for Christmas (I was tired of my girls using my robes to have "spa day") Well, they love them, to say the least. The girls decided that every Saturday is "spa day". Brynlee had her bath this morning, put my sunglasses on and was not only ready for spa day, but ready to pose! :) Enjoy!

Christmas Photos

Santa ALWAYS leaves balloons:
Brynlee (if you can't tell from the photo) was ecstatic that Santa brought her a baby: She was also thrilled that she got a Barbie princess that looked like her with brown hair and brown eyes:
But, personally, I think the Tootsie Rolls topped the Brynlee's list of favorites! Ainslee got her Sharpay barbie in the Mustang:
She was more excited that Mom got her a Webkins (Santa left one in Kylee's and Craig's stocking, and she felt a little sad about that until she opened hers)
All Craig wanted for Christmas was a BB gun. We kept teasing him saying, "You'll shoot your eye out" and that he was too young for one. His reply was that "I will not shoot my eye out and my cousins Austin and Alex have one! They're really cool!" (the cousins that is) Much to his surprise, Mom and Dad got him pellets just in case Santa had brought him an air soft BB gun! Kylee got the Bop It game she asked for and a bike:

Finally blogging..

Here I sit in front of the computer, finally blogging. I think my last post was a couple of months ago. I just feel like my blogs are quite BLAH and boring! I started this as a way to journal, and as it turns out, I am not very good at keeping up with this one either. I think to myself that I want this to be interesting when my children's children read this. Not that my life isn't interesting, it's just sometimes it's NOT! There are moments it is SOOO great, and days that just run into each other with the day-to-day hum drum of LIFE! By the time I remember those great moments, I have forgotten them by the drowning sound of children whining or bickering, the phone ringing, etc... So here I am, as we speak with children vying for my attention, and crying because of the littlest things. Really? Last week, my kids spent with my dear friend Jen, (who is absolutely AMAZING!!) while Paul and I went on a cruise to Mexico. (Pictures to follow) She said my kids were absolute angels! Perfect in every way. Her kids and my kids get along so well and just took care of each other the whole time. No fighting, no bickering, no whining, no little tiffs between the two older girls. I am so proud of them. But how do I get a bigger piece of that at home? They are good kids, but seriously, when I asked Kylee why she didn't fight with Ainslee, she said because she just walked away when she was annoyed. Yeah, that didn't translate to our house. Oh, well. We just start over the next day. Same stuff, different day. My life!
